Bumblebee was hit and killed sometime yesterday. We found her on the side of the blacktop between our driveways. We are just devastated. She was coming along so well and we were excited about working with her and teaching her more this summer. We are not sure what happened so that she was near the road, perhaps chasing a rabbit, we'll never know. She had been very good about knowing boundaries all fall and winter (we'd go horseback riding and she'd go back to the house and nap on the front porch in the sun rather than follow).

She and Justice were best buddies from the moment we brought her home and Abby even had gotten so that they'd play too.

We sure do miss her - she was simply a wonderful dog and was growing up so nicely.
